amy purple
I just received my merchant account and i am trying to configure authorize.net. Is there a tutorial anywhere for this? Currently, i changed the information in the payment module, did a test and i received the fake payment e-mail from authorize.net, but i didn't get any order e-mail from the shopping cart, but maybe you don't get that because it's in test, so i changed it to productive mode and i still didn't get one. Also, after entering in payment info and hitting confirm, it's putting me at the login screen rather than actually confirming and going to the page that states the order was completed. I've only been using paypal with no problems so far. Any help is appreciated. thanks.
Guest
I use a Contribution called Authorize.net Consolidated and I'm very happy with it. Do you have your store set up (in the admin under configuration) to send the store owner an extra email? Does your test customer get an email now? Does the order register properly in your store? That bit about bing redirected to the login doesn't sound good.

But yes, store owner gets e-mail. Test customer doesn't get e-mail with authorize.net payment and order is not showing up in store. Since i'm not getting the e-mail with the order, i'm assuming it has to do with it not going to the confirmation page and going to login instead. I'll look into the contrib. We are having the similar problem using Authorize.net. As far as I can tell have the blanks filled in for Authorize.net to process the transaction, but it doesn't seem to process inside OS COmmerce and we get the login screen for the shopping cart instead of a confirmation page when completing an order. the user and the owner gets an email, but it's only with teh authorize.net transaction information and no order information. (ex. what they ordered) Question for Authorize.net users: What is the "Set Order Status" in your Authorize.net setting. Mine is set for "Processing". Should it be set for "Default"? I having a little trouble finding the proper setting for it. I also have the "Sort Order of Display" for zero. Any advice is appreceiated. julie777
:( Has anyone experieced this problem before?? Julie After talking to Authorize.net and discussing the error of the page bringing up the (non-functioning) sign-on screen instead of a "sucess order page". https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll The following errors have occurred. (13) The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive. I am running away from this product b/c of this one problem no one seems to have a clue on how to resolve. it seems like a good product but SOMEONE HAS TO RESOLVED THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND HASN'T SPOKEN UP. OR IF THIS IS A TRUE GLITCH, PLEASE CONSIDER RESOLVING IT. GOOD BYE, julie
laurelsstitchery
This is the contribution that you all should be using with Authorize.net: Authorize.Net Consolidated 1.7 with Curl Fix The module included in osCommerce does not work as it hasn't been updated in a very long time.
