khalsted
Hi, I'm new to oscommerce. Is there a way to force a product to be in a cart as soon as the customer logs in? There are only 3 products we are selling to help people out (this is a church organization) and to get the other two, you have to at least buy the one. If this isn't possible, is it possible to keep oscommerce from adding a product unless another "main" product is bought first? Thanks, Ken p.s. please see my post in the 'setup forum' on help with changing the shipping page. We need the page: checkout_shipping.php in the checkout process to just show our own custom text stating it is "PICKUP only" and only the flat rate of shipping with a .50 cent paypal coverage charge. Shouldn't be to much of a problem with only three products to go. You could take a look at how the Buy Now or Add to Cart button works and mimick that feature upon logon with a hardcoded productid. The other approach wouldn't be to hard to code either. As for your p.s.; there is a nice store piclup contribution for this, take a look for that at the contribution section. I'll take a look at that button and see if I can figure out what it's doing. I'm sure over time we'll add more products, but right now it's just real simple. Thanks again and yes, I found out about the pickup and added that module and it works great! I even mod'd it to say CHURCH PICKUP instead of STORE PICKUP. OOh, real hard, I know. :-"
