Need Shipping Config help

Hello everyone.

This is my first experience with OScommerce but so far so good.

I need to somehow change the way the shipping page shows up for the users when they get to checkout here:

checkout_shipping.php

How can I change this page so that I can put my own text in there. I want to say:

"All orders are PICK-UP only. A flat 'shipping' charge of .50 cents will appear to help cover the cost of paypal"

This is the only thing I want to show up here but I don't want to screw up any of the other functionality of the system in case we ever want to start shipping things. This is a not for profit organization and I'm trying to help them out (for a Church here in town).

I would appreciate any help as I've look at this script and don't understand most of it.

Thanks,

Ken

There is a Contribution you can add for pickups. Look in Contributions from the Community link in red above.

Also, I'd suggest you call it a processing fee or handling fee. Credit card companies have very strict policies against adding a surcharge to use their products. I'm betting Paypal does, too. It's nic to be honest, but I don't think you want to tell folks they're paying your costs to conduct your business.

By the way, there are plenty of great Contribs in there that may appeal to you. It's a great way to make osC work for you.

Thanks Dan. Yeah, we may say processing fee. This service is totally non-profit and it's a service we're trying to add because people have requested it. We are making no money on any of this and in fact are out a lot of time and resources. So, I just want people to know, we can't afford to pay the paypal processing fees for them. But yeah, processing fee would probably make more sense. I just downloaded the pickup module, will see if it works!
