Guest
I've been at this the last few days and it's pretty clear in the 'manual'... It guides you thru every necessary step, follow it and you'll be safe. o:) oscommerce-2.2-ms2.pdf
Bizzmom
I'm a newbie without a clue. I need to build an oscommerce site, and then it will be uploaded to a company I just started working with in europe (germany) that integrates my oscommerce with my ebay sales for inventory purposes. Is there a way to build my site without a server...on my computer? I don't even know if that is a reasonble question...that's how clueless I am. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get me going so that I can get to the point of asking intelligent questions? Thank you!!!
Guest
Is there a way to build my site without a server...on my computer? You can build the site on your computer and then upload to the hosting server afterwards but you will have to make the appropriate changes to the config files. Thank you for the response back. :) I am reading the PDF file for newbies and I'm feeling like a total moron. I don't have a clue how to go about beginning to build a site that I can upload. Can someone point me in a direction. I'm not asking for a handholding...just material to read that might help this click. I'm just not comprehending what Oscommerce is as far as how to get started... I'm 100% lost.

My knowledge is html based only. When I say newbie, I mean it in the most serious way. Anyone out there that build these things for a reasonble (CHEAP) price? LOL
