I had a cart with a older version of paypal. I just upgraded and all works fine until when I am in the admin and I click on Customers -->PayPal IPN I get this message:

PayPal Instant Payment Notifications

Status

1054 - Unknown column 'p.paypal_id' in 'field list'

select p.txn_id, p.parent_txn_id, p.paypal_id, p.txn_type, p.payment_type, p.payment_status, p.pending_reason, p.mc_currency, p.mc_fee, p.payer_status, p.mc_currency, p.date_added, p.mc_gross, p.payment_date from paypal as p order by p.paypal_id DESC limit 0, 20

[TEP STOP]

How Can I fix this???

Thanks in advance.

What version did you have on your shop?

And how did you upgrade it?

Did you back out all the changes from the old one, and redo with the new? Or just go over with the install directions from the new?

We have an old one in the shop that I set up for my client, and its acting wonky.

She said she just recently got the stupid thing to start paying her right, and it is not sending the full information to Paypal that includes the shipping and tax..

Im not sure the dumb thing ever worked right

One of these days, I will actually understand what I just changed...

But reading the Manual DEFINATELY helps...

Hint use yahoo or google to search for solutions quickly

for instance I was thinking hmmmm gotta be the database

I used 1054 - Unknown column for the search and came up with

http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=87534

it might be of help

Read, read, read, test, read, read, test, read, implement.

Always back up your site and database before changes.

Always back up on a regular basis.
