Integrating osCommerce

Hi - I have installed osCommerce on my test server and it seems to be what I am looking for in terms of an eshop.

 

I wish to integrate my present website www.southernrailway.net - database driven but not e-commerce, into osCommerce as I wish to sell prints of some of the photographs. There is a sale/nosale flag on the database for this. I will only be selling in one size at one price + a fixed fee for shipping. I will also be adding products to the osCommerce site for conventional sale.

 

My ideal method would be to have an "add to basket" and "checkout" button on the photo display page. But it looks like this is not possible unless I can somehow add the sessions info to the present website.

 

I wish to keep the essence of the site as it is - the searching and the data, as I am still researching through my fathers notes and have another 2500 pictures to add to the site over the next few months.

 

Can anyone suggest the best way of integrating www.southernrailway.net into osCommerce? I know some php and MySql but I am definately not an expert.
