In order to make the case for us to use osCommerce, I need to know if it supports (and how) a few different things before my superiors will accept it. They are: 1. Does osCommerce support offline credit card transactions where the customer makes the purchase, but we manually bill their credit card instead of the system billing it on the spot? Our reasoning for this one is that we sell things offline at our events, and we like to be consistent for record keeping. 2. How would we go about viewing purchase information from customer purchases? Would the credit card information be provided so that we could manually bill it? Can this be viewed securely? Thank you, J. We do the same. osCommerce collects the details and we bill the CC on a cardholder not present basis. All the necessary details are available for you to view in the admin area. There is a module already included with stock osCommerce for collecting credit card info without processing it online. Just have to turn it on. superdairyboy Posted December 3, 2005 Share Posted December 3, 2005 Ok we had someone place an order on our site before we were able to get the SSL up and running.
