wise guy Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 Hi guys, What could that be? If I make only the slightest change to the english.php, the shop crashes. I mean for example if I change a single letter from capital to lower case, it crashes. When I then change it back to the original, it stays crashed. Only if I upload a new copy of the english.php, it works again. There are a few things I`d like to change though. I can change the other lang.php as much as I want to, everxthing works fine there. wise guy Posted November 8, 2005 Author Share Posted November 8, 2005 Hi guys, looks like I`m getting somewhere, I dont know where the problem actually lies, but I`ve got it to work so far. I edited the file on line with the oscommerce editor suplied, under admin languages, details. And it worked! Great OsCommerce really thought off everything! Must be a problem with my frontpage editor, even though it worked on all the other files that I changed. The bad news is that the file manager in admin has a bug in it and should not be used. You should grab one of the free php editors available. Such the forums for "php editor" and you should find several threads that mention quite a few choices.
