i want to put the post code on a new line when the address is printed out.

id like to put the post code on a new line when the address is viewed. can this be done?

i have added the UK contribution pack to change my address to UK format. it all looks and prints ok but it like to just change one thing. id like the post code on its own line.

 

it looks like this at the minute

first + last name

street address 1

street address 2

city, county/state, post code

country

 

id like it like this in both the address the customers see and in the admin section on the invoice and the packing slip

street address 1

street address 2

city, county/state

post code

country

 

can this be done easily? it sound like an easy mod but im not sure how to do it.

in the database i do not remember which address table it is take a look and if you do not find it i will look a little later

Hi,

 

You need to the address_format table in the database, and either create a new entry or modify an existing one. You can then choose the address format from the admin menu.

 

To get the address in the format that you want you need to set the address_fromat field to;

 

$firstname $lastname$cr$streets$cr$city, $state, $postcode$cr$country
