battech Posted November 7, 2005 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Hi, I am very new to oscommerce and i have messed my site up i tried to install a contribution but now the site doesn't load up at all this is the following message, Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in /homepages/12/d83974771/htdocs/laptop_power/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 280 you can see this at www.laptop-power.co.uk, Also can anyone give me advice on how to get to grips with oscommerce, are there courses i can go on mainly on the implementation of the index page, i have downloaded the oscommerce loaded version and can upload to my webspace good. kgt Posted November 7, 2005 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Whenever you get an error, you need to post the error (which you did) as well as the corresponding code. 99% of the time, the parser will tell you on what line the error occurred. Usually you will need to post 10-20 lines before and after the line with the error to help others spot the syntax error.
