Shopping Cart is empty

After I select products to Purchase I see the total of What's in My Cart.

When I select Continue, I then see What's In My Cart, and underneath that headline it states: "Your shopping cart is empty". Even though it just showed that I had three items in the Cart, prior to clicking Continue.

 

Can someone help me with this problem? Does this have to do with where I need to place my php.ini file?
