Customer Image Upload?

CentralMass

Recommended Posts

We want the customer to have the ability to upload an image of their choice, and if successful, checkout. We would need the image to somehow be indicated on the order so we know what image to go get to produce the custom product.

I have looked through the contributions for this and cannot find anything that would work, did I miss something?

Hi.

Sorry i dont have an answer to your post. I do have a similar requirement, which i have thoroughly searched the contributions board / forums, and wondered whether you had stumbled across any code contributions i may have missed.

Essentially i am looking for an OS Commerce add-on that would allow multiple vendors (i.e. 500 Guest House Owners) with the ability to build and upload a 'Product' (Guest Room) listing via an online interface; (inc Short description of their guest room / Postcode location of their guest room / available dates of their guest room / cost of their guest room / extra features of their guest room / picture of their guest room) = and once the listing was built, it would be searchable by the various criteria and made available for purchase by consumers, moving through the typical OS Commerce proceed to checkout / paypal functions etc.

Can anyone tell me whether this has been created for OSCommerce ? Or whether it is not possible, and if so, where i may be able to get some free applications / code to use !!!

Thank you so much in advance.

Not sure this is what you want but heads in the right direction.

Allows customers to upload a file (image) when purchasing a product and osCommerce handles it as an attribute/option.

Can I play here too? If so, I think we have a similar situation.

We have identical products, but with different prices from these different suppliers. When using "product attributes" to set the costs from each of the two suppliers, it was learned that upon checkout, two products are added to the shopping cart. This is not going to work!

You can see what happens by visiting a sample page here:

When you attempt to select only from one supplier, the software places an order from both suppliers. I'm sure this is a simple challenge from those of you more experienced, but it causes headaches to us.

Any advice? I don't want to have to make a folder for the 2nd supplier, to duplicate the products. Fact is, customers will likely select products from the lowest cost supplier and that's what we want for now.

Any advice please?
