Guest Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 hello, I have just installed OsCommerce and am trying to edit the default texts on the index.php file as it is recommended in the default text there. I have changed the file attributes to 777 so I can write into the file but whatever I edit (even removing or adding a dot in the default text) results in turning the whole file into blank page and nothing can be displayed. Does anyone know why is it so? That's totally strange to me and it's happening to me for the first time. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
