Is there a quick way to repopulate category images after EasyPop update?

Please forgive, this forum is fairly too big to find this, maybe it's here already...

I already have a full product list and categories/subcategories in an Excel file for EasyPopulate. Works terrific!! But...

I often need to move products around (which is MUCH easier to do in the Excel file than one product at a time in the admin panel). Then I simply run EasyPop again and voila, all my changes are in. But...

Yes, EasyPop can update, but it seems like if I delete a product in the .xls (or move it to another category), then it remains in the database after EasyPop uploads the changes. And it looks like there are only 2 ways to fix this - 1) Delete all the products and then run EasyPop, or 2) Go in and /manually/ fix/delete stuff one by one in the Admin panel.

The admin panel doesn't seem to have a multi-select for multiple product deletes/moves/etc - hence, the only useable way to clear the products is to delete all the category folders within the admin. That works good, but when I repopulate, I've lost all my category/subcat images!!! Setting the category images back again in the admin by hand is, shall we say, un-fun when you've got 60+ categories!!! :(

Any help here? Is there a way to delete all products in a category folder with one action and not the folder itself?

Or is there a contribution that can populate the catgeory image paths in the db (from a file or whatever)?

Thank you for ANY help!!!

P.S. - Is there a way to specify the path to the category images? (like /images/categories)???
