Guest Posted November 6, 2005 Share Posted November 6, 2005 HI there...small problem In our installation, the Manufacturer Home page link (at the product description page) is assumed by osC to be a subset of our catalog/ site, as in the following example: oursite.com/catalog/manufacturershomesite.com ...which is probably our mistake at installation, Our clearing bank requires our nonsecure site(s) to be physically on a separate server. We have several closely related non-secure sites (manuufacturers) feeding our one SSL osC shop site They are also on separate non-secure servers at their own separate URLs, of course. Also as one of the moderators pointed out, some time ago, having the whole site behind SSL makes it tough if not impossible to get properly spidered, to say the least, by the all important search engines for Organic SEO. How+Where do we put in the proper non-secure URL address for each of the manufacturer URLs, please? We want the Manufacturer's Site page to open in a separate window, as it does now, thank you, so the customer does not wander hopelessly off of the shopping page&site...
