Protection of the admin folder is something you're prompted to do as soon as the install is complete but it's not done inside the cart; it's done on your server. If you have cPanel, go into your control panel and protect the directory from there. Just one other point about use of the forum - don't take this the wrong way - but wherever possible, use the Search facility to find an answer to any question you might have before posting. Especially in the early stages with osC, the chances are you're not the first person to ask the same question. The community provides an unbelievable level of support and the least we can do as "takers" of osCommerce is to try to limit the burden of time on the "givers" (and, of course, hope that one day we learn enough to contribute something ourselves). If you don't have cPanel or the likes and have to set up an .htaccess file and password, manually, it's quite easy but do a search in the forum for the detailed instructions! :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
