Guest
Hi guys, Am having a question that i'm not sure of.. Is it possible to have a coupon which gives free shipping to certain countries? Or is this only possible via a modification? Would appreciate a reply... Thanks in advance! -Ryan
Guest
You could install the Credit Class/Gift Voucher contrib and then create a discount coupon for Free Shipping. There's actually a box within the coupon creation to check off 'Free Shipping' which would override any other value you attached to it.....and then, just send it, via e-mail, to those countries you wish to have it. They'd receive an e-mail from you, with a redeem code that you created, to apply to their purchase to receive free shipping. Call it....I don't know...FREE SHIPPING. You can set it to be used only once per customer...you can set it to be used 1000 times for 1000 different people, yet, only once PER CUSTOMER. It's pretty cool! Andrea The problem I see is that the customer can use the FREE SHIPPING to select OVERNIGHT EXPRESS!!! How do you stop them from selecting a more expensive shipping method? It is VERY important to know or else it is a expensive give-away.
