susanweissbrodt
I cannot get rid of the three categories that came with the template or add new ones... Someone told me to check the cache control but it shows "categories box - File does not exist". What am I doing wrong? Thank you very much for your help. Guest
Have you tried deleting them from your Admin page? And they're not there? If so, sounds like you have a bad install of OSC. If you haven't....just go to your Admin page. Click on Categories and delete them, one by one. Andrea
susanweissbrodt
can see them in the admin section, when I press delete button & then delete again after the "are you sure" nothing happens... I was able to delete the products, it's just the categories that are a problem. When you say bad install, what do you mean? Any ideas how it can be fixed? Thank you very much. susanweissbrodt
OK, in my desperation & have added a sub category to one of the top categories & to my surprise I could delete all the main categories... Problem is that I still cannot add any new categories, I get the menu on the right where you enter the name in the different languages and after save the page refreshes as it should, however the new category does not show. Is it something to do with the cache? Or do I need to add a folder where categories are saved... I have a normal install of 2.2 + global fix & new skin... Can anyone help please? Thank you very much. susanweissbrodt
I am beginning to think it's the security settings of my hosting company.... anyone else had similar problems out there??? I had a look on German suport site also & someone seems to suggest the ModSecurity on the Apache server but no details given.....
