wjwlpp Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 When I install osCommerce with MySQL, PHP and so on, the host IP is 152.69.85.31. After installation, everything was fine. Today, I have to change the host IP to a new one, such as 192.168.1.31. After I changed the host Ip, I changed below values in include/configure.php HTTP_SERVER HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN DB_SERVER to 192.168.1.31. After I rebooted everything, osCommerce web page could not be open. It told Warning: Host '192.168.1.31' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server in /var/www/html/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Host '192.168.1.31' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server in /var/www/html/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! So what issue in my configuration and what can I do for it ? Thanks to everyone !
Guest Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 My host just sent me an email stating "it is impossible to connect to the SQL database from outside this server" through port 3306. You may want to check its possible to do this. Sorry not to be of any super assistance. Just about to install my first osc and having trouble and found this.
