marathonstore Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 HI all, wonder if you can help at all. In setting up our site we have chose to have prices inc taxes. In admin they all show correct. And on the site prior to guest loggin in, they are correct (inc VAT). But once a customer has logged in all the prices have reverted to excluding tax. I have completed a dummy order and the VAT is not added at the payment point either. It seems that once we get to the secure area, the prices go wrong. any thoughts. Cheers
admeister Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Aren't prices dependent on where the logged in visitor is loggin in from? For instance, some states have no online taxes...or if you're from out-of-state from where the site is from you don't pay taxes... Maybe osCommerce recognizes the logged in users location and calculates the taxes based on that.
