Guest Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Hi, I added the paypal Module in the admin panel of OSC, I configured my Paypal account, but unfortunately Paypal does not show up as Payment Method. What can this be? MSnetworks
oldfunguy Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 I have the same problem, Nothing shows up in the payment selection area so nothing can be chosen or edited like the email address paypal should use. I hope someone knows what to do for this!!
ajberrow Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Had exactly this problem recently. I fixed it by setting the Payment Zone to -- None--. Hope this works for you, too. Antni
4girls Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005  Ok this is the same problem that I am having, its not even showing up in my checkout. The only option is for shipping, I am selling or going to be selling ebooks for download. I clicked zone="none" and its still not working. Is there any experts with a clue as to what I am not doing right? Someone please help me, my site has to be running by Feb 06' before I start nursing school and at the rate I am going it will take me that long to get this miserable thing working.... :sweating: I am having a meltdown trying to understand this. Guest Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Have you thought about using the osC team's PayPal IPN Payment Module contribution? I've been testing it with a few modifications to make it more capable, and it works well. Instant Payment Notification (IPN) is especially useful if you're selling for instant delivery. You might also be interested in using my Virtual Product contribution (in the final stages of testing right now). It allows for subscriptions and other Virtual Product sales without Downloads or other product Attributes. If the cart only has virtual products (and possibly Downloads) in it then the shipping step is skipped. I'm using it to up-sell freebie hosting accounts... customers pay for additional storage, and my Virtual Payments module combined with the IPN notification instantly updates the customer's account quota once PayPal IPN verifies payment.
