Wholesale pricing

I'm very new to this & this is in fact my first post.

 

We're looking for a module that allows us to add wholesale prices or to provide discount levels by customer. In other words, a code would be entered in the customer record which would relate to a discount off of the standard prices already set-up. The only little glitch might be sales tax. We are located in California, so if the customer is located here, they get charged sales tax.
