VPSsupport Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Hello, I am having problems getting my URL's to be search engine friendly. I have looked through the different contributions and most of them seem to break my shop. If I set the option in admin to SEF=True this causes problems for my cart. Are there any other solutions I could use? My Webpage Many thanks Regards, Clive
Jack_mcs Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Don't use the one in admin. It really is broken. The contributions all work as far as I know. From personal experience, I know Ultimate SEO works. It does require mod-rewrite to be enabled by your host so that might be your problem. Jack Thanks Jack, I can use mod_rewrite but I think it was something to do with my payment processor and the Ultimate SEO that caused the problems before. I also have extra info_pages installed and I think this was not help either. Any other suggestions? Regards, Clive
Jack_mcs Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 There are six different SEF contributions. Just start giving each one a try. There is a thread in here somewhere that goes through each one. That might help you if you can find it.
