Please can somene help how to instal oscommerce on local pc running window xp home.

You'll need to set up as a linux server with php, apache, mysql, etc. Is it worth that to have it run on your pc rather than just uploading it to your host and working on it there?

Try use the WAMP program (you can find it in the web), it works perfect!!!

EasyPHP is another choice for a web server although WAMP has more features like SSL, ftp-server, mail-server etc.

 

I started with EasyPHP but have just moved up to WAMP.

 

Use one of the above for ease of use if you have never setup apache or php etc before. Don't worry about installing Linux etc, it is overkill for a local machine which is running XP. (No offence to *nix users)
