MitchPitt Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 In checkout_shipping.php, I have went through and created a section to have a checkbox right after the shipping method selections. The reason for the checkbox is to give the customer of the option of keeping or returning back the insulated box the product came in. If they want to return the box, it's a ten dollar charge. Does anyone know how I can add that from the checkout_shipping page so it will be visible when the customer is in the checkout_confirmation.php page as a visible add-in cost? Thanks in advance.

Guest Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 So, you want to charge them more if they return the shipping material to you? Or, you want to deduct some of the charge since they're bringing it back for you to use again? Or, do you mean you're charging them to dispose of it for them?

The charge would be for if they want to keep the material. The packing material is insulated panels that can be reused. My client just wants to give her customers the option. If they don't click it, it just means they do not want the packing material.
