webfeet Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 My oscommerce was installed by fantastico No where do I find any files called catalog, temp or EP 1. Do I create folder catalog before or under admin? 2. Is folder called catalog/temp a separate folder ? or does a folder temp go under catalog? 3. Does EP go under catalog as well as admin? Would someone PLEASE straighten me out on these? How do I download any catalog using EP to excel when there is no catalog existing? AAAaahh now that is the question isnt it? There are 3 product samples on the site.
dave111 Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 When you see "catalog" in instructions it just means the base folder of your store. So whatever folder your store is in such as "public_html" "www" "onlinestore" consider that your "catalog" folder.

I see no one else helped you and I'm sure not the one to help, BUT, when fantastico installed mine, it had me create new usrnm and password.. When that is done, you can go to your domain site/admin with your new usrn and paswrd. or ask your webserver support. or try asking again, maybe someone will help..

I just dont see catalog as a folder under public.html, admin or elsewere.. So, I created a catalog folder under admin, and a temp folder under catalog.. and uploaded EP file under admin.. But I still don't see a pony.. Ive read EP pdf manual, several times, and i must be missing something.. I see NO WAY to upload any excel products into EP or using ep to upload to where,- dont understand that either
