MacStone Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Hi, we have the following problem: We would like to integrate some products via Easy Populate (2.74-MS2) into our shop. When we do that, only the first dataset (the first product) is imported. All others are ignored. Here is the message, Easy Populate generates after uploading an EP-txt-file: File uploaded. Temporary filename: /tmp/phpmSQDOQ User filename: 8DHDistributing-VIDEOGAMEHANDHELDSACTIVE.txt Size: 23404 | DHAGSSZBA | isimages/D | Nintendo G | GBA Advan | 94.5 | 0.8 | 0 | Nintendo | VIDEOGAME | GameBoy Ad | Active !New Product! | "DHAGSS | "DHNTRS | "DHNTRS | "DHPSPB | "DHAGTS | "DHAGTS | As you can see, only the first product was imported. After the fields from the first product, there is only shown some pieces from the product_model fields. Very strange... Does anybody have a solution for that problem? Any ideas? Regards Markus
Jack_mcs Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 The most common problem with Easy Populate is that the path to the temp directory is incorrect. If that is correct, try uploading the sample file that comes with it. If that works, then your file is formatted incorrectly. I tried to import the same txt-File on our testserver. On this server the same software is installed. On this server everything works well. So, why our main server does not import the products? Any ideas? Markus

Otherwise there is a error message when importing products. I had this message before... The error must be somewhere else. Any ideas? Thanks! Markus
