Hi im new to this so dont know a lot about the programme.

 

firstly couldyou tell me how to add another admin for my site?

im guessing i need to create an account for someone? or for them to create an account that i can make changes to?

 

please help!

Your question isn't clear to me. In oscommerce land, admin is the name of a directory in the shop that holds all of your sites setup tools. I'm assuming you want to make it so someone else can access that section. Is that correct?

I haven't used it but this indiates that it will help you set up multiple admin accounts with defined levels of access:

On a simpler scale, any of the contributions for securing the admin page will allow you to add multiple users but all have full access. For example:

 

AdminLogin-0.0.5

 

If your web host provides a control panel for you (most do) then it probably has a feature to password protect folders. That is the easiest way to do it. Just password protect the admin folder and add the users there.
