I want to remove most of the little images ie. My account, Cart Content

Hi

 

i want to totally remove the little images that appear around my shop. the ones im refering to are the ones that come along the top right which are my account, Cart Contents, Checkout.

 

there is also an image that appears just under these and is different depending on what page you are on. for instance, if you are on the main page and you get Whats New Here displayed on the left, you get a small image on the right. i want to remove these too.
