Specials Price in Product Edit Page

I often find myself adding a product, then going directly to the specials page and updating it to a special price, and then having to go back to the product category and add another product, and so on...over and over again.

 

So, being able to select whether or not an item is on special from the get go, and then being able to select the special price, would be great...and of course the end date as well.

 

Also, being able to randomize or create a sort order for the specials will be great. I want people to see something different every time they go to the specials page.

 

Just a few ideas.
