Having trouble with the Gift Voucher 5.10 contrib

I've intalled the contrib successfully and I've set it up to send new customers a Gift Voucher in the amount of $5. This works.

 

When I go in as a customer and put something in my cart and proceed to checkout...I punch in the redeem code and that works, too. I now have a Voucher Balance of $5.00.

 

But, according to the Gift Voucher FAQ...there's supposed to be a box to tick off during checkout if I want to use my balance toward my purchase....and there isn't one.

 

I took the item out of my cart and logged out. Went back in...signed in...my voucher balance of $5 is showing. Selected an item...put it in the cart...and proceed to checkout. Nowhere is there a box to tick off to apply my $5 balance toward the purchase in any of the steps. I'm successfully completing purchases; but nothing is there for me to apply the voucher balance. What am I missing?

My, this is a fussy little contrib, isn't it?

 

I figured out my problem. I went into my Admin page and uninstalled the modules for Discount Coupons and Gift Vouchers.

 

Then I clicked to install them again. I had messed around with the 'sort order' when I previously installed them and changed a few numbers. I guess that screwed it up badly enough that there was no box to tick to spend the voucher amount when I was in checkout.

 

So, I installed them again and left the default sort order numbers as is....and it works.

 

I have such a headache.
