Setting Up For Single Language Use

Please can I ask for help on the following

 

I am a newbie and am finding my way round (slow!)

 

I am setting up a site and as the company will only trade in the UK wanted to delete the German and Spanish language modules

 

I found information in the support area - viz delete the files in the administration area

 

Everything seems fine except that when I put the cursor on the Union Jack flag in the main index screen and press I get "This page cannot be found error message"

 

Using the back arrow takes me back to the previous main screen

 

I guess I need to alter something to take the code back to the English language. Please can somebody guide me

Yes this is the area where I used the delete control to remove the languages

 

I was following the advice in post 731244 Lacuna when Mibble suggested "remove the options from column_right and aldo in the admin"

 

I dont understand the first part but presume the second part refers to localisation/languages

 

Guidance appreciated
