Weird problem - Newbie in need of help

Hi all,

 

Hope fully somebody can help me with htis little issue... my catagories tab on the right hand side of the page intermittantly does not appear.

 

Has any body ever seen this before and if so how do i make the catagories tab stay permantaly.

Copy the address were the categories tab dose not appear and look for *.php

 

And make sure on how many pages you really have this problem. and add <?php include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?> to the page

Well it seems to be all the pages intermittantly,

but i have noticed that if i drop the www. from and just go for http://mydomain.co.uk it seems to work fine until the next page reverts back to www.

 

 

 

hopefully this makes some sense.

If it's different when you drop the www. i would first check you have set up your two configure.php's correctly, including the full web address with the www. before your address where needed.

I have double checked the configure.php file and they are set up correctly with the www.mydomain.co.uk

so its left me a littl confused... so when in my web browser i type www.mydomain.co.uk i do not get the catagories tab.. but if i just go for http://mydomain.co.uk it works a treat..

 

any more ideas?

osC admin panel --> Configuration --> Cache --> Use Cache --> set to false.
