how long do new products stay as new products?

Might be a strange question, but how long do new products stay new products in the products_new.php page? i thought it might be until the end of the month, but then all the products i added in october are still there.

As far as i know, it is just the last products you added on your site and no time is defined.

isn't that a bit problematic then? like, when does a new product not become a new product?

 

is a new products page basically then like a 'all products' page?
