marcus76 Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 help, Something has happened in the last day, possibly database corruption ? Any NEW orders i receive now are issued with a Order Number of 0 (zero), further to that i don't see the orders in Admin. The only indication of the order is the email i receive... Anyone seen this before have any ideas of what may have happened. No code has changed for months...this has got to be database related?? Thanks Marcus
Guest Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 You should look directly at your database to learn more. Use a tool like phpmyadmin (sometimes available directly on your host's control panel) to see the orders and the configuration. Do you have a recent backup from before the trouble? (your host may be able to help with this, too).
Guest Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 use phpmyadmin, go to the orders table click at the top the structure tab, then check at the mid of the page the "Row Statistics:" Check the next autoindex what's the value? (should be less than 2G) Check also the next autoindex for the orders_products and other order related tables. You can also use the table maintenance and check the table integrity (through the operations tab of phpmyadmin)
