Installation error.

Hey all.

My problem is bugging me.

 

I first installed Oscommerce locally on apache server. Then i tried to install on a www-site that i got. But first time i installed it locally i wrote a password that i now have forgotten. So i cant create a new installation on my www-site because it sais its password protected

 

This error message is being returned to me.

 

Access denied for user: 'mystore_user@localhost' (Using password: YES)

 

How do i remove the first installation so i can create a new one from scratch

Delete any .htaccess .htpasswd and .htgroup files you have from your local install.

 

However, the error you quoted is usually connected with inputting the incorrect db_server, db user name and or db password for the online installation - and nothing to do with password protection.
