newclearbomb Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 We've had our shop up and running for about 6 months now and all is well :) But...... we're upgrading to a new server with our hosts and we've copied our existing shop over to the new server for testing. I'm glad we are just testing as it doesn't work... When we call any of the oscommerce pages up, there's a segmentation error on the server and no pages get served. In an effort to isolate the problem, we've installed a fresh OSC install of the same version (OSC2.2 MS2) on the new server and that works fine, so the server is definitely capable of running that version of OSC.... Can anyone suggest which areas we should start looking at? Our existing shop has a fair few mods on it and I could try just copying files to the fresh install till it fails, but I'm hoping for a more educated approach.... Here's some details: existing (working) server: osCommerce 2.2-MS2 PHP Version 4.3.10 MySQL 4.0.21-standard Apache/2.0.51 (Unix) new (broken) server: osCommerce 2.2-MS2 PHP Version 5.0.5 MySQL 4.1.12 Apache/2.0.52 (Red Hat) Anything anyone can suggest would be very much appreciated. regards, James
