JWait Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Is it possible to remove a item ordered that is sold out? For instance, say a customer ordered 3 items. One item is sold out - discontinued. Can the Admin edit out the sold out item and recalculate the order before printing a packing slip? We do our CC processing offline and since we have a slaes floor that uses the same inventory as the web site items sometimes are just not available. Any suggestions here?

You can edit the order, using the order edit tool available in the contributions... This will allow you to edit the order and reduce/remove products/quantities. cheers and HTH Peter M.
