How do I change the background color of just one box?

I've searched the boards but can't find what I want. Is it possible to just change the background color of just one box? I'd like to change the categories box. I can't find a file where I could do that. I'm using cartxpress and the stylesheet setup changes the color in all boxes. I'd like to only change one.

 

Also, is it possible to have two categories boxes?

Take a look at this contribution for multiple category boxes and to change the layout for every infobox individual you can use this contribution

Thanks. I'll check it out. I was hoping I could do it in the codes for just one box. I'm not good at figuring out contributions. But I've done it in the past so I guess I can do it again. Will this contribution allow me to change the color of the New Products For Month area, too? I'd like to have that white since my images all have a white background.

You can pick just those parts from the contribution related to the infoboxes you want to change. After that you are free to restyle those boxes individually.

Just be sure to back up your files before you start any slicing and dicing. Then, it's a simple matter of reloading the files (or all) you messed with.

Make a backup of the files you are going to change for the contrib and you can't go wrong. I can't speak for the multiple category boxes but the individual infoboxes is a fairly easy contrib.
