VAT not be appiled to discounts??

Hi,

 

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this particular issue we are having. It would seem that VAT is not being applied to correctly when discounts are used. The VAT that should be applicable to the discount amount is not included, so if the sale price is 100 with a 10% discount the VAT that should be applied to the 10% discount is not added.

 

In other words the VAT is calculated before the discount is applied meaning the final price is too expensive.

 

I would have thought this must be a fairly widespread issue - we are using version 2.2-MS1 - is there a hotfix / workaround available?
