swopedesign Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 My site is hosted somewhere far away from my local time. I wish to set my site's time to my local time, so that midnight is midnight, etc. Is this possible? I've searched the forums for several hours but haven't found anything remotely related. TIA Mike Swope

swopedesign Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 Thank you. I hadn't thought about searching for time zone. I will do that. :) Do a search for timezone, this has been covered several times
swopedesign Posted October 23, 2005 Author Posted October 23, 2005 Well, I've done a search for time zone. I found the code that sets date and time formats (had already found this previously). You respond to several posts that the time needs adjusted to time zone, but there isn't any information about how to do this. The server time is the time being used for timestamps and display on the site. All posts about this same topic have ended the same way: change this code in English.php and adjust it for your time zone: @setlocale(LC_TIME, 'en_US.ISO_8859-1'); If you know how to adjust for different US time zones, please share with the community. Everything I've tried has had no effect.
