Installation error

I have read the install guide that Vqr published here and believed that I have followed it. When I try to run the install I receive tha following error

The page cannot be displayed

There is a problem with the page youare trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. It is most likely that configuration files for this url are corrupted.

HTTP Error 500

IISPassword for Internet Information Services

 

I made a SQL database abd have the login and password, but they never are asked for.

Any ideas?

IISPassword is a free IIS Windows security program that is separate from the regular windows directory services user accounts. http://www.troxo.com/products/iispassword/

 

You'll need read and execute rights most likely on the anonymous web account. You may have to ask your server admins to help take care of this if its hosted on a server running multiple sites.
