when i open the store in my web site i get this message on the store front

 

This is a default setup of the osCommerce project, products shown are for demonstrational purposes, any products purchased will not be delivered nor will the customer be billed. Any information seen on these products is to be treated as fictional.

 

 

how do i gwet this to a real or active store?

 

Any help would be good as i do not know alot about this

Hi Toby - take a look at the knowledge base (http://www.oscommerce.info/) - you'll find a lot of questions for new users are answered in there, if you're still stuck after reading through that site, post your questions back here.

 

By the way, not too sure about the wisdom of putting your oscommerce site within a frameset of your main site, may be a better idea to just modify the osc store to look like your main site (again, read the knowledge base for help with this), as the framesets make it very very difficult for the search engines to find and get around your store, making it less likely that you will get any good rankings or any of the related free traffic from the search engine results.

Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem....

Have you tried a refined search? Chances are your problem has already been dealt with elsewhere on the forums.....
