kidkawaii Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 can someone point me in the direction of a walkthrough to setting up the shopping cart with images? just got my site setup a couple days ago and im totally new to php. i just need to setup the most basic of shopping carts for some dvds but cant seem to get anything right. if someone could point out the faq or walk me through setting up ONE item id be very grateful. -lee
niknakgroup Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 hi lee - take a look in the knowledge base to get yourself started - http://www.oscommerce.info/ - osc is quite a nintuitive programme in the admin section, just have a play around and familiarise yourself with the instructions and functions. Open one window showing admin, and the other window showing your main site - mess with the admin controls and see what effect it has on the main site. If all goes wrong, revert to your backup store (oh - real important, take a backup before you start!!) Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem.... Have you tried a refined search?
