parma Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has or knows how to use CS Zen Garden (http://www.csszengarden.com) so that it can work with the oscommerce site. Im no good at it and just wanted to know if its possible to get it to work with the store and if so how to go about it. Regards M Parmar The basic concept of CSS Zen Garden is simply to demonstrate the power of stylesheets. It does not lend itself to universal application, in and of itself. CSS is co-dependent on the specific HTML to which it is tied. OSC would need to have a PHP/HTML template system patterned after Zen Garden's HTML for anyone to just "adapt" Zen Garden's CSS to it. Your best bet is to learn CSS thoroughly and make OSC work for your styles. Only rely on Zen Garden for inspiration - the purpose for which it was designed and at which it succeeds magnificently. Regards M Parmar I just thought I'd add.... much of the beauty of the Zen Garden stylesheets comes from the awesome graphics work that the creators of those sites have done. CSS in itself does not give you their look and feel. When I first started CSS, I spent hours disecting different sites to see how they did what they did and ALOT of it is the use of graphics.
