Guest Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 hiya i'v had some of my customers say that they have been having problems buying from one of my sites. they say that when they go through the checkout process - they get a warning message saying 'Security Failure'. i'v done test orders on the site - and i didnt get errors. I used both IE 6 & Mozilla Firefox. its not security warnings (certificate related). apparently this 'Security Failure' prevents them from buying - ie - completing the order. one thing i thought it might be was that the credit card was a fraud or incorrect numbers were used, but i did the order with the customers details & credit card number - and it went through fine. does anyone have an idea what this is about?
MarcoZorro Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 does anyone have an idea what this is about? Not without more information. What page does this error come up? What payment provider are you using? What is the exact error message?
Guest Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 sorry - i dont have more info on this... my client isnt exactly the brightest when it comes to questions like these - he didnt ask the customer these questions..... i'm guessing that it would appear on the credit card page - i thought it could be an error there - if you enter an incorrect cc number - it throws you back to that page saying invalid card or sum error like that >.> anyhooo... i have heavily tested the site from several locations... i cant find any problems with it. i'm gonna hope it was just a user error.... :)
