dynamoeffects Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 The design of your site really doesn't fit the scene of what you're selling. The colors need to be more dynamic and strong. A good example is a site my friend has been doing, but since I can't post outside links, do a google search for "axonclothing". Please use the forums for support! I am happy to help you here, but I am unable to offer free technical support over instant messenger or e-mail.
dandelion Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I agree that the design doesn't fit your product - it is uninspired. You need photos your images don't really make me interested in your product . Your "Learn how paypal protects you" link should either open as a new window or be a new page in your store. You still have a few of the ugly oscommerce graphics that should be replaced.

spidadesign Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 how do you edit the code so you only shiow the number of items in the shopping cart only and nothing else
portalplanet Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I'm confused.. can I add my design and you will print it to the skateboards? Is there a minimum order? Just my thoughts. Justin
jsinp Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I really liked your half inbox scheme But I would have to aggee with the others Your site is very simple and the audience your are going for is generaly from the younger 2 second attention span cateogory and most probably would click away after a while. Google search for some of you compitors and see what the did to get Ideas. I would diffently change out the oscommerce stock buttons and icons.
MSADMIN Posted October 27, 2005 Author Posted October 27, 2005 Ok the first thing im going to do is get those stock buttons out and new ones in. I'll hit you guys/magnificent girls up later with some updates ... Thanks all. SHOW ME YOURS !!!
♥Vger Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Actually, simple design can work well. There are a few things I'd change: 1. The blue link colours I'd change to dark grey to stand out more. 2. The red nav line at the top and the red navbar at the bottom I'd change to match the outer border colour. 3. The little text you have on each of the product types is too much for the homepage, but maybe you could do more with it. I'd create an extra Info Box, add new pages to it, and make one new page for each of the product types - and then say a lot more about each product type on that page, while removing it from the homepage.
