Credit Class & Gift Voucher - which do I pick?

I previously installed the Purchase Without Account contribution and I'm under the impression that some of the versions of the Credit Class & Gift Voucher contrib won't work on a modified version of OSC.

Quite simply: Which one do I choose?

That running list under CC&GV in the Contribution section is a nightmare.

Yes, that list is a nightmare. I would go with nothing higher than 5.10c, because it's really been messed up since then.

It does require one security patch, also listed, and I added the patch to show the Gift Voucher credit in the Customers account.

Thanks, Vger.

Could you please be so kind as to look at the list and tell me what the dates are of the install and the patch I should use? There's lots of references to 5.10 and I'm still confused, unfortunately. <_<

Here's the list for quick reference: Credit Class & Gift Vouchers

You want the gv_redeem exploit fix of Dec 21st 2004

The ccgv_5.10c of 26th June, 2004

If you use the osCommerce Pay Pal IPN then you need the 27th Jan 2005 fix for that

The Account Page Box of 15th sept 2005 I find useful, but unless you have the Points contribution installed you need to remove the first few lines that relate to it.

Thanks again, Vger.

Just looked at the install. Holy ****! That's a scary contribution.

Think I have to sleep on it. :D

Yes, this is a major install, one of the largest. It's not so bad on a default store, because then you just load up lots of files and edit some others, but if you've already modified your store then you have to do it piece by piece and it becomes a whole lot more difficult.
