Napalm
I've started playing around with OS commerce for a client that wants a site, and it's close to a perfect system from a db perspective. How difficult is it to extend things like the registration form to include new fields? I've designed a basic site, but the I need the ability to load different stylesheets for different Categories of the store. Is this possible ? Jack_mcs
Yes, this is all possible. How easy it is depends on your level of experience of course. If you are not familiar with php programing it may be quite a job for you. There are not any click to install type options to do it so it would all have to be coded. Patty
I also need to add some extra fields to registration form. Can anybody tell me which files need to be changed and how to add the extra fields? It also needs to be inserted on the database, right? How to do that? Thanks in advance for any help. Napalm
Isn't there a download of OS that is barebones (no styles applied) ? I've taken out more redundant tables in the frontend that I would care to remember.
