IE not using cached images, so site very slow

I've got a really wierd problem. Internet Explorer keeps downloading ALL images instead of calling them from its cache. I've checked on 6 different machines and they are all the same. Firefox works normally.

 

I have just upgraded from MS2 to MS2.2

 

I have checked all 'cache' and 'no-cache' settings that I can find and they are all exactly the same as they were with MS2.

 

Occasionally IE will call its cache, it is behaving as if some setting is 'expiring' the cache after a certain (fairly short) time.

 

Anybody any ideas?

I have the same problem .. IE is trying look for images in http:///images/ ..

I am with Ipower, I wonder if you are also with the same ISP. This could be problem of some server setting changes

Thanks anyway, but no, not that, the image path etc is correct, it's just ie not using its cache.

 

Anybody any ideas?
